Item Summary
Robert Glasper Experiment broke new ground with their future landmark album, Black Radio (Blue Note Records/EMI). Glasper revisits this material with a twist enlisting the aid of several notable hip-hop/R&B luminaries to interpret their take on his seminal Black Radio project. Lending their talents to the remixes include 9th Wonder and Phonte, ?uestlove, Pete Rock, and Georgia Ann Muldrow. These new interpretations of songs from Black Radio also feature the original guests (Erykah Badu, Bilal, Meshell N'Degeocello, yasiin bey (Mos Def) and the EP includes a new tune dedicated to the late J Dilla.

Comment: If you are a fan of j dilla or madlib I would highly recomend this release to you. I bought the Robert Glasper Experiment a few monts back and never really got into. Don't get me wrong its a quality project, it just one of those albums that I'll go back to in a little while and it will blow me away. This project sounds completely different.Imagine Mablib's Shades of Blue with some quality emcees flowing over it and the addition of some live instrumentation. That formula equals one dope project. To be honest I wish that it were longer. Some key tracks are: Afro Blue, Twice and Dillalude #2.
