Comment: First off you have to be in the right state of mind to really enjoy this. One of them LPs you throw on and sit back and just dab the day away to. That being said I can see how people wouldn't like it. This isn't some dance type shit. This isn't some hype you up to beat some ass music. This is some OG music that doesn't need to front. It just knows it's that fucking hard. The sound quality on the vinyl is pretty decent for modern vinyl. Hard edged digital vocals like every release nowdays. Damn shame. At least the bass isn't overpowering the mids and highs. Overall 7/10 sound quality. |

Comment: I understand why some people don't like the beats but can't understand why someone would like the last album and not like this one. Roc's style of beats take some getting use to but I got use to them on the last album and on KA's albums. I think his beats are like this because he puts emphasis on his lyricism and the combination works well. This album is really good and I'm starting to like the fact that all the beats don't follow the same boom bap sound that everyone else uses. Roc in my opinion is one of the best MC's out right now by far. KA is ill as F! also. There will be a bunch more clones coming in the future copying his style of beats and laid back flow just because he's not following trends. |
