    Summary

With the first release on the newly formed Wu Music Group label, RZA brings a second brand new soundtrack to Spike TV's "Afro Samurai" television show. Just like on the first, he brings some predictable guests--Ghostface, Inspectah Deck, Killah Priest--and others who you'd never guess--Rah Digga, Kool G. Rap, and... Sly Stone?!?

Comment: Man I love hip hop, the Rza, Wu Tang, and I love shit from affiliates lately like Timbo King, hell Razah, 9th Prince,Raekwon, Ghost, Bronze Nazareth, have all come out with decent albums in the past year or two, man but this shit sucks bad......i dunno wtf direction RZA is taking his production but I really dont fucking like it......if this is the kind of production GZA has to look foward to for " Liquid Swords 2" i'm gonna be so disgusted and upset.......Rza is supposed to be leader of the Clan but his material lately is just terrible......I'm sorry for saying this cause i'm a true die hard wu fan but something has got to give....golden era of hip hop my ass......once a person makes good music they shouldn't make shitty music imo.

Comment: Rza hits on point with progressive (yet foundation still from 36 chambers) arrangements and programming on literally 12 or 13 of these tracks, while on 5 or 6 are simply wu banga

Comment: rza is the best producer on hip hop industry but the problem is that hip hop changed also rza with it thats why you cant compare this with 36 chambers that was the golden era of hip hop

Comment: As Usual, RZA put's out another cd and just doesn't connect. Been a big Wu-fan since "protect ya neck" and RZA will never come out with the same fire as the 36 Chambers,Wu-Forever & all the first solo jointz. He puts out some jointz, but not an whole album. He kills the songs with those damn weak hooks.... I have to stop foolin myself and think RZA can do it again. Face it, he's gettin older......

Comment: I had the original soundtrack and this was just as great. You can hate all you want but it's a solid compilation. Great amount of creative emcees + Rza intuitive production = Success. It's a soundtrack. Listen to the lyrics and watch the new film. It matches up perfectly. Keep living in the "36 chambers" era. You will only be blind to the next levels of hiphop.

Comment: i am big wu fan. most of the hooks on this are weak. affffffro samurai, you got to be the best samurai. that's good? rza's best current productions were what he did on pro tools and 8 diagrams. this one could have been the shit but it only works for kids who like cartoons like afro samurai on spike tv. get back to the adult kung-fu samples save the cartoon stuff for the youngsters still living with their mommy and daddy.

Comment: Come on now-let's be honest, This Afro Samurai album is straight lethal to the ears. Beats & lyrics are bangin' and creatively unlimited- RZA's ability to collabortate and build with his Killa Bee kin makes the Wu Tang unstoppable- haters could bring their favorite mcees best verses and watch the Wu smash em'! Only true hip hop fans appreciate & support this unique art form-you gotta open up yo minds to the ways of the Samurai...
