I do gotta agree with other reviews, the beats were not that great, 9th wonder/khrysis & a couple of the alchemist beats are dope, but most of the rest aren't that good. Evidence dissapointed me big time, cause usually he produces ILL beats. As for ruck, he comes thru wit it on da lyrics. P.S I hope he gets better production on his next album. |

Had he been doing some gay pop shit, then people would be complaining that he should stick to his roots an not switch his style up. Same shit happened with Raekwon, he did a new album and people complained it wasn't grimey and that he should go back to his old style. Enter Sean Price, sticks to the old style and gets bitched at for not trying anything new. Fuckin hip hop fan faggots. P! |

First off, this cd is categorized under NY boom-bap. 2nd, this is easily his best word to date.. & after like 4 listens in a row, this album ranks in the underground world what "Ready 2 Die" was to mainstreamers. How? You can play this with your white "backpacker" buddies & bump this in all black crowd...& this cd will get love to ANY hardcore hip-hop fan regardless. (i really can never say I seen another artist bridge that gap) The lyrics are short but sweet, not too complex yet far beyond basic. The word-play & his signature word flipping are all there! Thumpy loud instrumentals are contagiously good. If you down this album then you aren't a Sean P fan period..& u prob aren't a fan of boom-bap. |

I don't think sean price takes his work seriously. rap to beats and let dru ha sell it. jesus price superstar destroys this album. you could tell he put a lot into that. just by the run time, and track quality. duck down on a serious losing streak. sales are lower than ever and they consistently pump out disappointing projects. this is not the BCC of old. |

Name: Wicked (Posted: 10/26/2012 2:44:00 PM; Partial IP: 3.8.75.118) Location: San Francisco bay area. Comment: Def not worth copping. I buy 300 albums a year and this is not worth adding to my vinyl collection. I have 30,000 vinyl records and 5000 CDs. And 1000 cassete tapes. And 500 8 tracks. The only music that interests me this year, is the project that observe is putting out. but the problem with observe is that when we hung out in San Francisco he kept bringing up ughh dot com. He's a real fucking loser and should get banned on site.

Name: Mel (Posted: 10/24/2012 2:21:00 PM; Partial IP: 17.136.240) Location: Sweden Comment: i heard it to, I love it, think its his best work. I like slow shit and with alc and his newer "gangrene" type of beats this is a banger. I dont think many dudes agree with you honestly. its not like 9th wonder is cruital to the album like you make it sound |

pyrex sounds, kinda, a little, in some way like a premo beat. 9th beat is soft and full of snares, its still good tho. the one with ill bill and them are hard as nails though. the track with torae is the only one I dont really feel, so with that being said, I dont think youve heard the album because its a banger all the way through. |
Name: Salvador Ibarra (Posted: 10/21/2012 7:53:00 AM; Partial IP: 215.184.25) Location: Chino, USA Comment: Happy to see this, all the beats are from heavy hitters known or not. The art of Hip hop is filled with clowns that think its cool to hate behind an alias, you hate that right. Looking forward to the release, I got my pre-order in, Im a real fan and a real person. |
