Mtv Raps better known as his alter ego KDz of Tha Grimm Teachaz. hes been consistently puting out albums and now signed to Anticon with Jel and Odd Nosdam on the production things are great. this windy city native represents to the fullest. Check his previous works for his full range of lyrical styles you might be confused... but dont be fooled he remains to be at the level of Kool Keith as Dr.doom Black Elvis or maybe metal faced Doom. AND IM OUT LIKE 91 SON!!! |

Comment: Im loving the abstract hiphop done right. Im not feelin the mono-tone raps though. The lyrics arent that complex. If the rap bars and lyrics were on par with the beats and instrumentals this album would be up there with Funcrusher Plus. But alas no album will ever be able to touch CoFlow. Overall..I like it. I needed to hear this I've been feinding for years. |

Comment: Really like this album. Judging from the cover I thought it'd be a calm album but it was some real abstract hip hop. Never listened to Serengeti before this. I've heard of Jel and Odd Nosdam though. The reason I give this album four stars is because it's not perfect. Didn't care for the interlude Say What? even though it goes into the song Chill beautifully. I also didn't care for the song Go Dancin. Other than that I really liked the album. |
