Comment: I think Necro is a great artist, great MC, great producer. I'm a fan. Only thing : I don't think it is relevant to say fans shouldn't listen to artists (black or white etc) just because they might have got beaten in fights... Personnally I don't care what happened in their actual life as long as their music is good and as long as they stay sincere. Not everybody can be an actual gangster and win every fistfight/gunfight they might get in. The problem is when they say do and lie. You can't blame a real cat for getting his ass beaten, shit happens and there's always somebody stronger than you. Some fans out there seem to listen to an artist just because he's "a real gangsta", I think that's stupid, it means you're a fan of the person and not of what he creates. We're talking music here, not "ultimate fighting championiship". This is a general thought, not anything against Necro in particular. Comment: I was in the front row of the Pasadena show. Someone told Q-Unique "get the fuck off stage" Necro slapped the dude in the face and thats when the drama started...thats what happened. Comment: Necro got it right with that howard stern complex. Im a necro hater I think hes a gimmick. Yet, I always watch his interviews to see what he says. I dont agree with the violence and the over the top sex and shock value. However I think the dude is real to who he is and I can respect that. There is room in hip hop for him especially if he can appeal to a broader demographic than mainstream cats.
