Talk about Saying something? how about the flow + and attitude hes bringin with it? Thing about golden age is no matter how ill it was there were still some MC's that totally ripped it without saying anything at all!! I.E Buckshot, wicked rapper, menacing n raw. you get that by just listening to him rap not even by the content... People are taking it all too textbook instead of feelin it. These days I find a fine line between MC's - MC's that sound like they WANT to rap or should I say NEED to rap (Term is one of em!) and then you got da rappers who dont even sound like they wanna rap! (50 cent, Jeezy, Lil Wayne Whatever!)
Either way Term is quality!

I'm talking about the person "motivating" the crowd, which is Term, and the words that are being transferred through the mic. Those words are supposed to be meaningful, they're supposed to connect us with the MC. But personally, I feel no connection what-so-ever from this MC and many MC's like him. Listen to these cats known as Bee Why, they're from QueensBridge and they released an album in 2007, but I dont care what year it was released in, the point is they have the fundamentals of hip-hop that made their entire album stand out.

This is underground.. this is progression? This is wack, dull, all the real MC's keep their blade sharp with intelligence and originality

In the Golden Age, that's exactly what people were doing. They were breaking the norm and making a new type of hip-hop that people respected. That's exactly what cats like Term and Primo are doing as we speak.

When you're hooked on Golden Age hip-hop you really can't upgrade to this stuff man. What's so critical about this song? What's he trying to convey to us in this song? I can write a better song talking about the Crenshaw Mall and have more people feel it. I might not have the looks to back me up, but I sure will have the ruffneck dope beats and rhymes that will get anybody off their feet, even if they don't like hip-hop. Cmon man, what happened to style? What happened to originality? What happened to Hip-Hop? I guess you really can't relive your good ol' days anymore in this society. Shit's moving too damn fast.
