    Summary

BRAND-NEW FULLY SANCTIONED NEW MATERIAL FROM THE ENTIRE WU-TANG CLAN. NO OUTTAKES. NO BOOTLEG MATERIAL. NO B-SIDES. NO LEFT-OVERS.

The Wu-Tang is the most influential and longest running group in hip-hop. RZA's vision has helped shape an entire generation of music. The group's major return-to-form on CHAMBER MUSIC is the Wu album hardcore fans have always hoped for. The album's sound is inspired by classic soul (and kung fu imagery) and is a radical departure from group's recent 8 DIAGRAMS project.

CHAMBER MUSIC's throw-back sound features a combination of live instrumentation and new RZA beats shaped in a classic old-school soul type of vibe, reminiscent of the group's classic 36 CHAMBERS sound but with a completely updated, modern twist. The album includes newly recorded verses from every key member of the group, plus affiliates Cappadonna, Killah Priest, Street Life and more.

Comment: Pretty good effort from the WU. Its a short album but good. To many skits. Breath of fresh air with this one. Two good Wu albums for 09. This one and Rae's album. Haven't heard Ghost's album yet. Don't know if I want to. I heard its pretty much R&Bullshit.

Comment: This is a solid Wu album with a fresh-but-classic sound, but a couple things disturb me... One. Where the hell is Meth, GZA, and Masta Killa? Two. Why are there more skits than songs? Three. Where the hell is Meth, GZA- LOL oh my fault, I already said that. I love the album from start to finish. Even the album cover is the shit. But overall, it is not worthy of the name "Wu-Tang Clan".

I assure you all that this is the dopest album that will be dropped in the next year if not more!!

I agree with Cory.Bronze Nazareth's and Cilvaringz's albums sounds more like Wu-Tang than even the Wu.Even 71Raw got more Wu-Flavor.This album is dope but not sick. The WU it's not what they were and it's a damn shame.Let's seen if OBFCB-2 brings back that classic WU-STYLE. Comment: Niggers try to reproduced what they did best back in 93 with a sampler and some records. This new shit sounds to clean and "unhiphop" Since 10 years Wu his trying to find a new identity instead should've kept it raw like the fiest LPs. It's kind of sad! The truth is that their sound changed because sample clearence became to expensive and time consuming. They said fuck sampling let's do our "own" sound..... Nigger your own sound was Enter The 36 Chambers, Liquid Swords, Ironman, Only Built 4 Cuban Links and Tical.

Comment: Wu tang (ala meets the indie) is slammin' ... really so many forget but the classics we praise these guys for, werent classics when they hit ... when 36 came out everyone was on that Onyx sound, then when the solos came everyone was on that BCC / Queens Bridge flow, but like 8 diagrams (the reinvent of the sound) it'll still be standing in japan/France/and spots that hear the music not the 'hope ... wu is gone live, only thing missing is that cipah sound, it sounds too literature-esque ... love the soundscape here (praise to Camp Lo and Rza for seeing that nxt level)

Comment: well.. if the tracklisting is the one posted on wutangcorp dot com, then I have to say, is this a wu album, or a rza album?? rza got 7 solo tracks on this, and he is also on another track...no GZA, no Masta Killa, no meth, no cappadonna, no street life...this isnt a wu album, this is rza's attempt at jerking everybody off just like that last bullshit album. all I see is re-releases, how many years are you gonna sell the same 15 songs...and as for the new material, that shit is trash, rza isnt as nice as he thinks he is, not nice enough to get seven spots on there, INS and GZA, easily overcome RZA as better mc's..this album is a fucking joke..this is a RZA feats some memebers of wu tang clan, album. cant believe this..what happened to dumping rza and making a project without him I liked that better, I havent heard ANYTHING good from him, since Wu-Tang Forever, all of his solo albums were trash. and now he has destoryed one of hiphops most iconic groups, thanks RZA you fucking faggot bitch

Comment: With the release of every clan album its always the same thing. A new album that promises to stay true to their roots, promising to recreate the sound of 36 chambers. And the day there album releases you go out and buy it and what do you get? trash. Remember iron flag? the W? And lets be honest people 8 diagrams was a bunch of bullshit. Im sick of being promised a new 36 chambers every time a new wu album drops. They had 4 tries already and still cant get it. Think Differently in my opinion was the best stuff ive heard from any of the members in a long time. But once again ill keep my fingers crossed 4 this one. And as for cuban linx 2. After immobilarity and lex diamondz raekwon better have been cooking up some hot lyrics. Everybodys hyped about it being cuban linx 2 n all , and once again everybody is probably expecting that cuban linx sound, which sadly I dont think were gonna get. Whenever it does release

Comment: That tracklisting was made up by fans.....its false ... here is some info on the album.. Andrew Kelley is helping to A&R and produce this next wu-tang album. They find ILL samples, get the band "The Revelations" to reproduce the samples in the studio, than they chop that shit up and make a beat out of it. I include this to acknowledge the Revelations involvement in the album, by the time the producers are finished with the beats, they do not have a 'Live' sound. Another engineer comes in and runs some filters and what not to give it that "early wu" sound. all the features on the album are people from that era of hip-hop, the team behind the project are keeping the entire album true to the sound of the original wu albums, and the original solo albums. RZA is exec producing, and will have final say. Members drop by the studio and drop their verses. so far ghost, az, cormega, deck, rza, and rae have dropped verses for the album. it was Rza's idea to make this album, for the fans who want an album that could easily have come out in the 90s... a throwback record, with all street songs on it, with just wu-tang and ill artists from that period in time. and in no way is this a 'compilation' album. its a wu album with good features.
